To create and effectively operate an annually occurring Tennessee Environmental Network Show of the South conference, providing fresh, new, high value, well-balanced, diverse, and relevant educational content with a positive impact on current and future practitioners and the environment of Tennessee and the Southeast region.

General Information
Building on 48 years of success of the Environmental Show of the South, the Tennessee Environmental Network Show of the South is the largest, most comprehensive and diverse environmental education opportunity in Tennessee, and is typically attended by 879+ Local, State, and Federal Government Officials, Economic Development, Business and Industry Leaders, Corporate Sustainability, Scientists, Educators and Universities, Non-profits, Manufacturers, Attorneys, Consultants, Architects, Engineers, Builders and Contractors, Developers, Land Owners, Agribusiness Leaders, Energy and Transportation Experts, Geologists, Forestry, Agribusiness, Water Planning Districts, Public Health Officials, Solid and Hazardous Waste, Recycling Experts, Enviro-Tech, and many, many others with a strong interest in environmental activities in Tennessee and the Southeast region.
Over the three-day event, TENSOS hosts an elite group of environmental professionals seeking to exchange knowledge and share ideas around environmental concerns in Tennessee and across the Southeast region. The educational program, designed and developed by our 63-member Steering Committee, offers 80+ unique courses in nine educational breakout sessions, allowing attendees to design their own personalized curriculum by selecting twelve (12) educational breakout sessions, while receiving self-reported Continuing Education credits (as applicable). With the combined efforts of the state’s leading environmental organizations, the Tennessee Environmental Network Show of the South has proven to be a valued educational opportunity focused on Sustaining the Future for the People of Tennessee and the Southeast region.
The conference takes place at the Chattanooga Convention Center in Chattanooga, TN.
